• What do we do with our driptray?

  All driptrays are removable. Greencare recommend that the driptrays are emptied and cleaned on a daily basis. If you require a machine with direct drainage, we can provide models which incorporate this feature. Please see our product pages.

• Is my hot and cold dispenser hot enough to make hot drinks?

  Yes. The temperature of hot water coming from a hot/cold machine will dispense at approximately 87oC. As these machines can store roughly 1-1.5ltrs of hot water, that will give approximately 4-5 cups (not mugs) of hot water. If you require a higher capacity water heater, please view our boiler range.

• What temperature does a water cooler chill the water to?

  All of our water coolers chill the water to less than 10oC. The freestanding and desktop machines will dispense roughly 2.5ltrs of chilled water before needing time to recover. If you require a higher capacity cooler, please view our fountain range.

• How much energy do water coolers use?

  All of our machines run at 220-240 volts. Energy consumption of our machines are approximately 120w when chilling, 430 when heating.

• Can my water cooler be switched off at night?

  As our coolers work on the same basic principle as a refrigerator, Greencare would recommend that the machine is switched on at all times. Turning the machine off for a prolonged amount on time may cause bacterial issues.

• Do your water coolers come with cup dispensers?

  Some freestanding Greencare water coolers have integrated cup dispensers. For machines without, we can provide and fit wall mounted cup dispensers. Please see our product range and consumables page for more information.

• Can Greencare provide cups?

  Yes. We can provide 7oz plastic cups and 4oz paper cones. We can also provide Greencare sports bottles.

• Do Greencare provide a recycling service for cups?

  Yes. Please click on the link to access the Save-a-Cup scheme on our home page.

• Can your coolers be secured to a wall for added safety?

  Yes. This feature is available of a select range. Please view our water coolers for school page for more information.

• How often do Greencare service the machines?

  All machines on rental contracts will be serviced and sanitized twice yearly. Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the machine is the responsibility of the site.
