Greencare H2O’s ISO14001 accreditation was awarded on 8/6/2007. This Environmental Management Standard is critical in maintaining our position as an ethical company that is achieving and demonstrating sound environmental performance by controlling the impacts of their activities, products and services on the environment, consistent with their environmental policy and objectives.

European point of use drinking water association (EPDWA)
Greencare H2O has been a prominent member of the EPDWA since 2004. It aims to promote, develop and maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and ethics within the European Point-Of-Use Drinking Water industry, to the benefit of customers.

Best Green Companies
The Sunday Times Best Green Companies awards, sets out to identify and celebrate the achievements of British businesses that are striving to improve their environmental performance. Greencare H2O has received awards in both 2008 and 2009.

Save A Cup
Greencare H2O have been part of The Save a Cup scheme since 2005 in order to become more environmentally friendly. The scheme was established by the vending, food service and plastics industries to collect the millions of hard-wall polystyrene cups used in the UK every week. The company's objective is to increase the number of cups collected in line with Government targets for recycling packaging waste.

Healthy schools
In conjunction with Greencare H2O’s “water for schools” sector we are also members of The National Healthy Schools Programme , which has become one of the country’s most widely embraced initiatives in schools.
More than 98% of schools nationally are now involved in the programme and over 74% of schools have achieved National Healthy School Status. This translates to around 4 million children and young people currently enjoying the benefits of attending a Healthy School.
